All the good things said about the Kindle - - I agree!
Hmm, with the Kindle, a real page turner would be more accurately described as a real "button pusher"?
Having been an "avid" reader in short spurts, in about a month I've consumed nine books. Kindle did it to me! And this spurt probably won't sputter.
To repeat a popular phrase, "I love my Kindle!" Can't help it...
And my wife is starting to aggravate me (not really). Take the dog for a walk, come home, and now she's reading a book - - with MY Kindle! Does it maybe seem like another two Kindle home is in the offing? Yup.

I love my Kindle. We have had ours for over a year now. I am a huge Jodi Picoult fan and am disappointed that her new release will not be on Kindle for another 4 months. The beauty of Kindle is having the books at my fingertips. If new releases are not available when they come out in print, this will be a waste of $300. This seems to be the trend, making new releases available later on Kindle or other electronic devices. I hope Amazon and publishers can meet in the middle where pricing is concerned. This is a HUGE disappointment for me. I think most Kindle users would pay a higher price for new releases. We just want our books.

I love reading with the kindle, it is easier to navigate than I had been led to believe, i have read 4 books since I received my kindle... also it is great to my have my USA Today when I awake each morning,, I am a satisfied customer,, i dont know why i waited so long to buy one....

I got the Kindle for my Birthday and I love it. So nice to be able to get a book right away and also have it available in a typeface that is easy to read. Each birthday, the eyes get worse.
Would recommend that anyone who loves to read, will love this.

well I bought this for my mom for her birthday but she has found a few things she didn't quite like.
When your shopping and looking at a certain item it doesn't take you back to the place you were previously looking at.
One time it forgot where I was at and was a pain to get back to where I was.
Overall it is a very nice convenience then lugging around a bunch of books, but can be too convenient for me at times.
